What will my child learn?
- How to brake in a controlled way in difficult environments.
- Weight transfer – how to move their bodies to maintain their balance and control of the bike when they’re riding uphill, downhill or around corners.
- The Track Stand – how to stop the bike without putting your feet down, and balance for multiple seconds.
- Faster and more complex skills including faster reaction times and increased spatial awareness.
- How to ride in challenging and unfamiliar environments – how to use all of their knowledge and experience to tackle different riding surfaces confidently.
How will this help in real life?
- Your child will be able to ride a 90-degree corner using the right technique, at an appropriate speed.
- They’ll get used to avoiding debris, pedestrians or other obstacles on the road or path.
